How to play croquet

Croquet is a fun and friendly sport suitable for all ages and abilities and can be played either with a partner or individually. At the Abbey Croquet Club we play both Golf Croquet and Association Croquet.

Golf Croquet

In Golf Croquet players take it in turns to play their balls and the winner of the game is the first player to go through seven hoops. For more information visit How to play Golf Croquet

Association Croquet

Association Croquet combines the strategy of chess with the stroke play of golf. Unlike Golf Croquet a player can earn extra turns by hitting other balls and going through hoops - this enables the player to make a break, as in snooker. For more information visit How to play Association Croquet.
